3M™ Super Duty Paste Rubbing Compound

3M™ Super Duty Paste Rubbing Compound has been developed for effective compounding even on hard-to-buff surfaces. It helps in removing imperfections from painted surfaces of automobiles and delivers fast cuts, longer wet times, and reduced sling.

How to Use

Polish to remove scratches or sandpaper marks No. 1200 and above.

Instructions:

1. Use with 3M SBS wool compounding pad or 3M Bondo compounding pad and a polishing machine at the speed of 1000-2500 RPM.
2. Pour the product into a strip of 2-3 inches per 4 square feet. However, the amount of product depends on the condition of the work surface.
3. Polish at low RPM to spread the product. Then, polish at a speed of 1000-2500 RPM depending on the operator’s expertise.
4. Check for scratches or sandpaper marks. If the scratches are still found, follow step 2 again until the scratches are gone.
5. Wipe to clean up with a 3M microfiber cloth.
