3M™ AC Evaporator Cleaner

This solution effectively cleans AC evaporator assembly in vehicles by removing contaminants and improving air flow. The product is safe on aluminum evaporator assembly.

How to Use:

• Open the thermostat coupler/filter/front dash and remove it to access the evaporator area.
• Using a borescope, take a picture of the before condition of the evaporator.
• Place a tray below the AC drain hose to collect the drained-out cleaner.
• Apply 3M AC Evaporator Cleaner solution (1:1 dilution) using a spray system and wand.
• Allow a few minutes rest time for the cleaner to work and wait until the cleaner drains out through the drain hose.
• Using a borescope, take an after condition picture of the evaporator.
• Optional: Flush the evaporator with clean water using a spray system and wand. Wait until the water drains out.
• Refit the thermostat and coupler.
